INDIA AND THE WORLD
About The Continental
The Continental is an India-based digital publication from The Good Earth Publishers. We bring together Indian and global affairs, politics, culture, entertainment, sport and the literary world.
What we cover
Our coverage includes significant political and diplomatic developments, news from Indian cities, public controversies, cinema, music, sporting achievements and the people behind books. Alongside news briefs, we publish interviews, features, historical retrospectives, analysis and opinion.
Our editorial approach
We aim to write clearly, provide useful context and help readers understand why a story matters. We distinguish verified facts from allegations and speculation. Analysis and opinion are identified so readers can assess them on their own terms.
Sources and image credits accompany our coverage where applicable. Archive photographs and editorial illustrations are identified. Each dated edition reflects the reporting available when it was prepared.
Books, authors and conversations
Literature is a substantial part of The Continental. We welcome conversations with authors, publishers and people whose work deserves a closer look. Our literary coverage includes author interviews, books, publishing developments and the ideas that connect writing with everyday life.
