An upcoming Jammu-based hyperlocal delivery venture invites applications from energetic, enterprising and locally knowledgeable candidates to assist with its initial market research, retailer outreach and business development.

We are looking for a young professional who understands Jammu, knows its markets and neighbourhoods, and is willing to undertake independent fieldwork. The selected candidate will report directly to the business promoter and participate in the groundwork for a proposed new local enterprise.

The Assignment

• Conduct field surveys across Jammu city.
• Identify grocery stores, supermarkets, pharmacies and other potential retail partners.
• Meet shopkeepers and assess their interest in participating in a local delivery network.
• Study customer demand, shopping habits, delivery requirements and competing services.
• Identify potential delivery personnel and logistics partners.
• Prepare daily field reports and submit findings directly to the promoter.
• Assist in preparing the feasibility assessment and initial operating plan.

Who Should Apply?

• Graduates, preferably in Business, Commerce, Management or related disciplines.
• Young professionals and capable fresh graduates with confidence and initiative.
• Candidates with sound knowledge of Jammu city's commercial areas and residential neighbourhoods.
• Individuals with strong communication skills in Hindi and preferably Dogri.
• Applicants comfortable meeting retailers, conducting surveys and working independently.
• Ownership of a two-wheeler is preferred.
